Terms of Service

Last updated: November 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a contract between you and Jag Journey, LLC ("we", "us" or "our"), which operates UE Conduit at ueconduit.com. Please read them before you buy a license or use the product.

1. Accepting These Terms

These Terms apply when you visit ueconduit.com (the "Site"), create an account, buy a license, or download, install or use UE Conduit. By doing any of those things, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site or UE Conduit.

If you accept these Terms for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organization.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

2. What UE Conduit Is

UE Conduit is a plugin for the Unreal Engine 5.8 editor plus a local MCP server. Together they give AI agents direct control of the editor. In these Terms, "UE Conduit" means both parts:

  • The "Plugin" is commercial software. It ships compiled, with no C++ source, for Unreal Engine 5.8 on 64-bit Windows only. You cannot change or rebuild it. You need a license from us to use it.
  • The "MCP server" is open source under the MIT License and is installed separately through npm.

The MIT License governs the MCP server, not the commercial license in these Terms. Sections 4, 5 and 8 apply to the Plugin only, and nothing in these Terms limits the rights the MIT License gives you in the MCP server.

All sales are final (see Section 7), so please confirm that you use Unreal Engine 5.8 on 64-bit Windows before you buy.

3. Age, Accounts and Your License Key

You must have reached the age of majority where you live to accept these Terms or buy a license.

Give accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and your license key safe, and for everything done with them. If you think someone else has your credentials or your license key, tell us right away through a support ticket.

4. Your License to the Plugin

The Plugin is licensed to you, not sold. When you buy a license, and for as long as that license lasts, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Plugin on the one computer your license is locked to, under these Terms.

License lengths

Licenses come in three lengths: 3 months, 12 months and lifetime. A lifetime license has no end date and includes updates forever, unless it is cancelled under Section 7 or Section 8.

One license, one computer

One license works on one computer and is locked to that computer. This is true of every license, always. A studio needs one license for each computer.

What you may do

  • Use the Plugin in unlimited personal and commercial Unreal projects on your licensed computer.
  • Ship games built with the Plugin. The Plugin is editor-only and is not included in packaged games, so no royalty or per-game fee applies.

What you may not do

  • Use one license on more than one computer.
  • Redistribute the Plugin.
  • Resell the Plugin, or create a competing product from it.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, patch or tamper with the Plugin, or bypass its license check, except where the law gives you a right to do so that cannot be waived.
  • Remove copyright notices.
  • Share a license key.

Moving to a new computer

To move your license to a new computer, free the old computer from your license page ("My licenses"). You can make up to 3 moves in 12 months. More moves need a support ticket.

5. License Checks and the End of a License

How the license check works

The Plugin checks its license with the Site when the editor starts and every 12 hours while the editor stays open. Each check sends your license key, a hash of your computer's Windows machine ID, the Plugin version and a hash of the Plugin's own program file. The Privacy Policy has the details.

The Site answers with a signed lease that lasts 7 days, so the Plugin keeps working offline for up to 7 days. Once a lease runs out, the Plugin stops working until it can complete a license check.

When your license time runs out

When a license's time runs out, the Plugin itself stops working and all downloads stop, including re-downloading an old version.

Buying again before your license ends

If you buy again early, the new time adds onto what is left and your license key stays the same. A lifetime purchase removes the end date.

6. Buying a License

The price of each license and any taxes that apply are shown at checkout. By placing an order, you agree to pay them. Stripe processes payments. Your order is your proof of license, so keep a record of it.

We may change prices for future orders. A price change does not affect an order you have already placed.

7. Refunds and Chargebacks

UE Conduit is a digital product and all sales are final. We do not give refunds, except where the law requires one.

Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from an online purchase, you agree that we start supplying the product when you receive your license key or download the Plugin, and that you give up that right from that point, to the extent the law allows.

A full refund or a chargeback cancels the license automatically. We may restore a license cancelled this way at our discretion.

A license cancelled for tampering gets no refund.

8. Cancelling a License

We can cancel a license that breaks these Terms.

Signs of tampering raise a flag on the license, and a person reviews it. A flag does not cancel anything by itself.

When we cancel a license:

  • The cancelled copy stops serving tools at its next license check, within 7 days at most.
  • That copy gets no more updates, and update downloads stop at once.
  • Nothing is removed from your computer. A cancel never deletes a file or touches your project.

A license cancelled for tampering gets no refund.

9. Updates

Your license includes the new versions of the Plugin we release while it is active, and a lifetime license includes updates forever.

We do not guarantee a new version, or support for a new engine version, by any specific date. A new engine version may need a new build, and the Plugin may not work with that engine version until one is released. A new version may change or remove features.

10. Bug Reports and Support

The Plugin can send automatic bug reports so that we can find and fix problems, and each report becomes a support ticket. Automatic reports are on by default, with a notice on first run and a setting that turns them off. You get one email for each new bug and none for repeats. Our Privacy Policy explains what a report holds.

Support is through support tickets.

11. AI Agents and Your Project

Please read this section carefully. UE Conduit lets AI agents you choose act in your Unreal Engine editor. Those agents can change, overwrite or delete assets and project files.

  • You choose the agent. You decide which agent to connect and what to ask of it, and you are responsible for what it does.
  • Keep backups. You are responsible for keeping backups and using version control for your projects. Do this before you let an agent work on anything you cannot afford to lose.
  • AI output can be wrong. Check an agent's work before you rely on it or ship it.
  • Third party AI providers are separate from us. Any AI provider you use, and any API key you use with it, is between you and that provider, under its terms. Any usage charges are yours.

Section 17 limits our liability for lost work, lost data and damage to your projects, including damage caused by an AI agent.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attack or disrupt the Site or our systems, including with malware or by overloading them.
  • Scrape the Site or collect its content by automated means.
  • Probe, scan or test the Site or our systems for weaknesses.
  • Use the Site or UE Conduit for anything unlawful.
  • Use UE Conduit to break the rights of others, including their copyright, trademark and privacy rights.
  • Use UE Conduit in a way that breaks the Unreal Engine license.

13. Intellectual Property

We own the Plugin, the Site and the UE Conduit brand, along with all intellectual property rights in them. You get only the rights these Terms state. The MIT License separately covers the MCP server.

You own your projects and your games. We claim no ownership of them.

If you send us feedback, ideas or suggestions, we may use them freely, without paying you or owing you anything.

14. Trademarks and Unreal Engine

Unreal and Unreal Engine are trademarks of Epic Games, Inc. UE Conduit is an independent product and is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Epic Games. Other product names belong to their owners.

You must follow the Unreal Engine End User License Agreement (EULA) when you use UE Conduit.

15. Export and Sanctions

You must follow the export control and sanctions laws that apply to you and to UE Conduit, including those of the United States. You may not buy, use, export or re-export UE Conduit in violation of those laws. By using UE Conduit, you confirm that you are not located in a country or region under a United States embargo, and that you are not on any United States government list of sanctioned or restricted parties.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE, UE CONDUIT AND ALL RELATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT UE CONDUIT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE, THAT IT WILL WORK WITH ANY PARTICULAR AI AGENT OR PROVIDER, THAT THE SITE OR THE LICENSE CHECK WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, OR THAT ANYTHING AN AI AGENT PRODUCES WILL BE ACCURATE OR SAFE TO USE.

Some places do not allow these exclusions, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM THESE TERMS, THE SITE OR UE CONDUIT, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THESE DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST WORK, LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA, OR DAMAGE TO YOUR PROJECTS, ASSETS OR FILES, INCLUDING ANY CAUSED BY AN AI AGENT ACTING IN YOUR EDITOR.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS, THE SITE OR UE CONDUIT IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU PAID US FOR THE LICENSE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Some places do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

18. Indemnification

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Jag Journey, LLC and its owners, employees and contractors against any third party claim, and any resulting losses, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees, that arise from:

  • Your use of the Site or UE Conduit.
  • Your projects and games, including anything an AI agent does or produces for you.
  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Your breach of the law or of anyone's rights, including the Unreal Engine EULA.

19. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using UE Conduit at any time. Stopping does not entitle you to a refund.

We may suspend or close your account, or block your access to the Site, if you break these Terms, if your use puts the Site, UE Conduit or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. A license is cancelled as described in Sections 7 and 8.

When a license is cancelled, the license in Section 4 ends. You must stop using the Plugin and delete your copies of it. We will not delete anything for you.

Sections 7, 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 22 continue to apply after your license or these Terms end, along with any other section that by its nature should continue.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms, the Site or UE Conduit shall be resolved in the courts of Texas, USA.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms. When we do, we post the new version on this page with a new date. If you keep using the Site or UE Conduit after that, you accept the new version. If you do not accept it, stop using them.

22. General Terms

  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your license without our written permission. We may assign these Terms, including to a company that takes over UE Conduit.
  • Severability. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, that part is limited or removed only as far as needed, and the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right or a term, we have not given it up.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the MIT License for the MCP server are the entire agreement between you and us about UE Conduit, and they replace any earlier agreement on that subject.
